My 2011 Martin DCPA1 plays and sounds great. It has a few minor dings on edges and a few hairline scratches on top. There is some minor scuffing on the side where it sits on your leg. Of course none of this affects its sound or playability, which as you would expect from a Martin of this caliber, is excellent. I have tried to picture all of this. The neck joint is tight, and there is no fret wear. Sounds great acoustic or electric. Original Martin case is in excellent condition. If you are looking for a Martin that's a bit broken in and sounds great, this is the guitar for you. Serial # 1475178
