Serial number 6780
According to the serial reference I found that puts in the 66-68 run of instruments which were numbered 6400-7000 probably a 67 given that 6780 is kinda in the higher middle numbers.
This was purchased from the original owner. He claimed that he and his guitarist ordered two matching ink blue instruments.
This bass appears to have been finished in Candy apple red, then a brighter blue then the final ink blue. the ink blue paint is hazier than some of the mosrite stuff I have seen.
According to him it's all original other than screws for the chrome mute cover and the output Jack. The original Jack is in the original case. Handle on case has been replaced with some wire.
