Hornet #387 is brand new, built in August 2019.
The body on this guitar is one piece swamp ash with a green oxide stain and Danish oil finish The neck is one-piece maple with a maple fretboard: 24-3/4” scale / 12” radius and 1-11/16” Delrin nut with 24 Jescar 47104 frets and Hipshot locking tuners. The carve is a medium C; it is easy and comfortable.
I gave this Hornet a matched pair of my handwound Type13SC single coil “silver foils” authentic to the 60’s DeArmond-Rowe gold foils in their clarity and sizzle when pushed. The Jag-style trem is matched with Wilkinson roller bridge making for a true and stable system
This is a beautiful and fantastic playing and sounding instrument, and wicked stylish!
