D. Lakin Basses 6034 (J Bass) 2020 Ocean Turquoise

A very special bass.
DL003 is the first 6034 (my take on the J bass)
It features:

Nitro cellulose Lacquer lightweight ash body in Ocean Turquois.  The beautiful flame maple neck is made from quartersawn maple. The fingerboard is rosewood.

All fretting and assembly was done by Ex- Lakland Luthier Dan Strack.  Dan is the most talented luthier I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
The neck is modeled on Joe Osborn’s 1960 Jazz bass and is the most comfortable neck profile that I have ever felt.
The pickups are by Lindy Fralin.  The pots are CTS solid shaft.
The hardware is all USA made Hipshot.  The newly designed bridge features through body and through bride stringing.  It also features our new L logo!

This bass was taken to the Namm show and has very minor playing wear and thus it's a Demo
This bass has pyramid gold flatwounds.

This bass weighs 8 pounds 13 oz
The bass features a lifetime warranty to the original owner
