Selling a great playing vintage 1966 Mosrite Ventures Moseley. The body on this one has been pro refinished in Blue metallic and the neck was re-fretted and rebound. Outside of the refinish/re-fret this guitar looks to be largely original. Pickups, pots, trem, tuners, strap buttons, and knobs all look to be original. It has a newer Switchcraft jack and the bridge may be a replacement. The serial number is X-5536 and the pots date to the 14th week of 1966. The body finish has some chips on both sides of the neck pocket but otherwise is in excellent shape. Really nice figured maple neck on this one with what looks like might be Brazilian Rosewood on the fingerboard (not sure on that). The neck finish has a few dings but overall is in very good shape. The re-fret was really well done and the frets show no wear. The guitar plays cleanly and easily up and down the neck with no dead spots or buzzing. Nice resonate guitar that weighs 7.82 lbs. Pickups sound great and the controls work as they should. This guitar plays and sounds great! It comes with a nice newer ESP hardshell case that fits perfectly.
