This action includes a very clean Yamaha CX5M music computer with SFG-05 synth hardware. Small NTSC monitor and cable. And an FM voicing cartridge (in original packaging with manual).

The CX5M was built to the MSX standard, which included slots for inserting programmed . These extended the machine's capability, accepting a range of games, office applications and so on.

The FM Voicing cart included allows you to program the bank of 48 sounds for the CX5's own built in synthesizer. The SFG-05, supports MIDI input and allows the internal FM synth to be played by any external MIDI keyboard.

The FM tone generator used is called OPP (YM2164). The cartridge contains also a stereo DAC (YM3012) and a MKS (YM2148). It is the second version of the SFG sound modules developed by Yamaha for their CX series.

The monitor accepts composite video, VGA and HDMI inputs (no sound)
