Aero Gtr8 Type 1 Pickup Drop-In Replacement for Lipstick Morrell 8-string Lap Steel
Aero Gtr8 Type 1 pickups are drop-in replacements for the Lipstick Morrell 8-string Lap Steel pickup. The Gtr8 will completely fix the sensing problems of the Lipstick especially for the two outside strings, and dramatically improve the sound of the Morrell. The Aero pickup is a pole piece pickup with 62mm overall string spacing (center of low string to center of high string, over centerline of the pickup). If your want your Morrell to be a great lap steel, this is the single best investment you can make.
Note: The listing is for the pickup ONLY, the pickguard and controls are not included. Pickup has a black tape finish. The Gtr8 pickup can also be manufactured in any string spacing so it is worth measuring your instrument. You can contact Aero directly if you require a custom pickup.
