This amp is capable of some extreme saturation and compression if the gain is set moderate to high and the edge and boost switch engaged. Or back the gain down & disengage the boost and it has a very open/organic gain structure. Not sure what's different about this one, but it's very easy & fun to play while still having that ultra tight, articulate & fast attack these amps are known for. It does not fit the typical UL description of being unforgiving, dry, or lacking in saturation.
Amp is in great shape. There is one ding in the tolex on the top/front of the amp and can be seen in the last picture. The previous owner did a great job gluing it back down and it is not easily noticed.
Amp comes with factory footswitch and is loaded with EH KT88 and JJ preamp tubes. Has the KT88/6L6 switch to run either power tubes.
It will be packed infinitely better than any UPS or FedEx store could ever dream of packing an amp.
