CALL US FOR A HANDS ON DESCRIPTION AT 937-436-2000!
You are looking at a lovely Burgundy Mist 1985 Fender Performer with the OHSC in excellent condition with the
correct tremolo arm included. There is no certificate or case candy, just the guitar, trem arm and case.
We got this in trade recently from a local guy who bought it new in 1985 for his son to learn on. He never did, and now
you can own it!
The pictures are of the guitar you will receive- they were taken outside in the sun & shade. See below for a description
of our idea of "excellent" condition...
Fender Performer Features:
• Color: Burgundy Mist (Champagne?)
• Body: Alder
• Neck: maple
• Scale: 25.5"
• Fingerboard: Rosewood
• Frets: 24 jumbo
• Hardware: Chrome
• Tuning machines: Cast/closed back
• Pickguard : 3 ply WBW
• Pickups: Humbucking
• Bridge: Fender System 1 with arm
• Includes original hard shell case
• Weighs 7 lbs. & 15 ozs.
THE EXCRUCIATING DETAILS:
HEADSTOCK: There are no breaks or cracks (repaired or otherwise). The tuners are the original. The nut is original, the logo
is complete and intact and there are a couple of minor dings on the tip of the headstock
THE NECK & FINGERBOARD: The neck has never been cracked or broken. The fretboard is in good shape, the inlays are
original, the neck is straight, the action is low and the truss rod works as it should. The frets are at 99.7% (no visible fret wear).
The back of the neck has some minor indents behind the 5th fret, probably from resting the guitar against an amp.
THE BODY: The body has never been cracked or broken, but, there are a few small dings on the lower back edge, probably
from leaning the guitar against an amp. The front, back and the sides are extremely clean, no worming or buckle rash. There
is nothing on the body that is thru the clear.
HARDWARE: 90/100, very slight wear for a 29 year old guitar.
ELECTRONICS: Everything works as it should with no dirty pots or switches. The electronics are all original.
THE CASE: Original with all latches, feet & hinges in good shape. Neither the case or
the guitar smell of smoke.
All pictures were taken outside, as I continue to work on my tan.
Please feel free to call us at 937-436-2000 if you have any questions.
