Bishop's Miscellany by Shakmat Modular is a dual 32-step CV/gate recorder. packed with a plethora of inputs and outputs (16 total), a pair of large, sturdy knobs and a quartet of oh-so-flippable switches, Bishop's Miscellany is an impressively playable piece of gear. to get started, feed it a clock and flip the REC switch. when nothing's patched to the CV and gate inputs, Bishop's Miscellany can generate random values to get you started (just flip the RNDM switch or send the RNDM input a gate). of course the most fun comes from sampling and mangling your own LFOs, sequences and gates, so patch into CV 1/2 and GATE 1/2 to really get rolling.
got something you like? awesome. now use the SHIFT and LENGTH knobs/inputs to scan through subsets of the recorded steps. try out the CUT button to trim GATE 1's gates to triggers. when you're ready to add some more options to the mix, flip the A/B switch and record a second set of CV/gates, then have fun flipping back and forth between your two recordings!
very good condition with a bit of rack rash as shown. includes ribbon cable.
