Diaz Texas Square Face with two transistor pair the classic NTE103 Germanium Transistors
Highly sought after Fuzz pedal designed by Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar tech, Cesar Diaz.
This one is built by the co-owner of Diaz Amplification, Peter McMahon. (Now owner of Homestead Amps)
Diaz built Stevie a fuzz pedal after Stevie continually broke his Dallas Arbiter fuzz pedals. Vaughan would use the Diaz designed fuzz pedal until his untimely passing. Afterward, Diaz began producing his signature fuzz model for consumer use and named it the "Texas Square Face."
This pedal is no longer in production and only occasionally comes up for sale. Act fast!
This fuzz pedal sounds fantastic. Huge versatility based on pedal chain placement. Very responsive to your guitars volume control, believe it or not, that control does have a purpose!
This version can be powered by a standard 9v input (older versions were battery only) or powered by an internal 9v battery.
This fuzz pedal is in perfect working order and very good cosmetic condition. Velcro on the bottom and no box.
Pedal comes with the 2 Germanium transistors installed.
