for your consideration: a mid 30's (probably 1937) serial number is 428 Electar model M Spanish electric guitar also includes the early (maybe a 1936) Electar amp. Be the first kid on your block to have one of oldest known commercially made electric guitars. Finish and electronics appear to be all original. Includes what appears to be its original case and suitcase style Electar model M amp. Guitar is in great condition considering its age. Guitar is missing about 50% of the binding on the treble side of the back. It amazes me how clean this old guitar is. Case has some issues, needs a hinge or 2 repaired, but does protect. Have not used the amp in 10 or 12 years, while it did work then, at a very minimum it will need to be brought up on a variac. This is a very early amp, it does not have a volume or tone control as you would use the ones on your model M guitar. I can email any pictures of it if desired. The quoted shipping is for guitar and amp. The above youtube is not me, but is the same model guitar. THANKS
PS I have been informed by a knowledgeable Electar man, that the guitar and amp were probably made in 1936, due to the low serial numbers.
