For sale a 1966-67 Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman that has an early 1967 serial number #27383 (Feb. of 1967 and the 383rd instrument in that batch). They made some changes in 1967, however this guitar is consistent with the 1966 run. It is 100% original except the bridge, and the frets which were replaced a few years ago. It has a cool "mistake" from the factory that's unique to the 1966-early 67 run where the the headstock says "gentleman," and the pickguard says "gentlemen." There is a bit of "binding crumble" which is typical for older gretsch guitars, however nothing major. Missing nut on the underside of the pick guard. Back toggle is a 3-way kill switch. Comes with original case.
