This is a handmade McGhee mandolin. This is mandolin is definitely not in pristine condition, nor was the original build quality immaculate, but if anyone is looking for a deal on a handmade mandolin with TONE, they should consider this one. I am posting this mandolin for sale to see if anybody would be interested in it, as I don’t play it anymore, and it is still a great mandolin. The tone of this mandolin is equal to some at least double the asking price. I do not know much about the maker, but I have come across other instruments of his before, and have listed the price based on the selling price of those and taking into account the condition of this one. I do not know the complete history of this mandolin, but I have had it for about 10 years. The previous owner installed an Allen tailpiece and I replaced the tunning pegs. I tried to document the issues as much as possible with the pictures. You will be able to see from the pictures all of the cosmetic marks. Other than that, other things of note include a small separation in one spot on the binding, and a dead spot on he 14th fret on the low G string and one on the second last fret on the high E. With that said, it is still a solid mandolin and overall a great instrument. Includes Hardshell case. Will Accept returns started within 3 days. Buyer responsible for return shipping cost.
