The SlackJaw is a very versatile overdrive. It can be used as a boost, an overdrive, and even a fuzz! The SlackJaw is composed of the best voicing that overdrive, boost, and fuzz pedals have ever offered - in a singular design. It is flexible enough to work well with single coils or humbuckers, as well as tube amps or solid state amps. Like the Snapperhead, the SlackJaw has a wide range of sounds from mild to aggressive, all while sounding very organic and rich with great punch and clarity.

Controls

• Level Knob - Controls the output level, or volume, of the effect.
• Gain Knob - From 0 - Noon, the pedal responds much like a standard sweeping drive, found in most overdrive/distortion pedals. However, from Noon to Full, it will yield more aggressive and heavier fuzz tones.
• Upper Switch (3-way) - Left Position (Compression), will add a little bit of compression to the signal, resulting in a more controlled sound at lower volumes and some very heavy clipping at higher gain levels. Middle Position (Boost), will result in a large volume boost, great for pushing your amp into overdrive. Right Position (Saturation), gives a more lush tonal voicing.
• Lower Switch (2-way) - Left Position (Bass Boost), results in a very defined increase in bass response with a slightly increased output in volume for lower frequencies. This is great for the neck pickup, 7-string, and baritone guitars. Right Position (Bass Cut), reduces bass emphasis and spotlights clarity and harmonically rich tonal characteristics.

SynapticGroove takes a unique approach to aesthetics and your SlackJaw will have a well-loved worn in look to it. The SlackJaw is true-bypass.

This unit requires a 9V battery (not included) or 9V power supply with standard 2.1mm connector with center negative (not included). As with all boutique effects pedals, a high quality, regulated power supply is recommended (such as a ).

SynapticGroove pedals have a 2 year warranty, and will be repaired or replaced by SynapticGroove. Problems resulting from modifications or misuse may cancel this warranty. All shipping expenses will be covered by the owner. This warranty is transferable to another user within the original time frame of 2 years from the initial sale.
