THE HAGSTROM VIKING TOBACCO SUNBURST SEMI ACOUSTIC GUITAREnter a true Scandinavian warrior! The Viking stands proudly next to its solid-body siblings, the Swede and Super Swede as the undisputed all-time classic of the Hagstrom range. With its meticulously crafted laminated maple body, solid centre-sustain-block, and hard-maple set neck, it churns out sounds as diverse as they come. Hagstrom’s prominent, yet not-too-hot HJ50 humbucking pickups deliver a broad sonic palette ranging from Blues to Rock to Jazz-Fusion to 60’s Beat and beyond. You can even take it on a shred spin.
This instrument features stunning looks and great playability. If you're on the market for a semi acoustic guitar then the Hagstrom Viking has to be on your must see list. Especially when you look at the specification. The maple body has a gorgeous Tobacco Sunburst finish. It also features a maple set neck. Like all Hagstroms this Viking model comes with a Resinator Fretboard. Inside the neck is an H Expander Truss Rod. This is part of the secret sound and playability of this instrument. With its fifteen inch radius it has modern playability. You can get the action low for big bending if you want to. The Hagstrom Viking Tobacco Sunburst also comes with great hardware. The HJ-50 Humbucker pickups deliver a little more bite. Also nice is the Trapeze TailPiece and 18:1 ratio tuners.
