I’ve recently had this information confirmed from Tokai;

It is SD50 AMRR made around 1985 at our factory in Japan.

Body: Ash or Alder

Neck: Maple and 22 frets

Fingerboard: Rosewood 400mm Radius

Tremolo: Tokai Ayer’s Rocker 1 (see note below on tremolo)

Color: All Metallic Red

Awesome and seemingly rare Strat copy guitar from the 80's, well used with a few little bumps and dinks but these all add to the character. I've had this guitar for about 22 years now and it's certainly served me well, I've recorded with it, gigged with it and it's been a complete workhorse throughout. When I was gigging regularly I had it serviced it once a year, and the luthier was always complimentary and had little work to do on it. Bought from Music Ground in Doncaster in late 1996. The scratchplate is pretty scuffed in some parts. The tone pot is missing the screw to tighten it, hence why it's missing from the pics, but I have it so an easy fix if you have a little screw. Also missing the tremolo arm, it's never had one since I've owned it nor is it something I use in my style of playing, but pretty sure if you wanted one they're readily available and cheap. I've tried to show all the bumps, chips etc in the pics, but considering its age of 30+ years it's looking pretty awesome.
