The Ibanez SR Series is one of the most popular beginner and intermediate bass series in the world, with tons of variations offering quality appointments all well under $1000.
The Ibanez SR300DX is essentially a SR300 with Phat Bass Boost circuitry, using one P-style and one J-style Ibanez DX pickup in an Agathis body, with a three-band active EQ and five knobs. The Maple neck has a contoured bolt joint and a Rosewood fingerboard.
