If you're reading this post you probably know all about this one-of-a-kind Strat.
Designed by Tom Delonge himself, the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster is an alder Stratocaster body with one white Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker pickup, one volume knob and a 1970s large headstock.
The neck is maple with a beautiful rosewood fretboard and stylish, retro, Kluson-style tuners.
The pearloid pickguard takes the style factor up a level and really brings out the beauty of the sea foam green finish.
Serial #: MZ1155557
Now to the nitty gritty:
I got this guitar brand new towards the end of 2001. It was played hard, multiple times a week for about 15 years. It was my daily go-to guitar. It has been well loved and it shows. There are nicks and scratches as seen in the photos.
The rear guitar strap peg was stripped and came loose shortly after I got the guitar and I tried fixing it with a wooden dowel and wood glue, but it didn't hold. I ended up duct taping my guitar strap to the guitar and it's been on ever since. It's a simple fix but I never took the time to fix it myself.
The humbucker screws have also come loose (or stripped) which doesn't affect the how the guitar sounds or plays at all.
A few of the pickguard screws have started to rust.
Does NOT include case or gig bag.
I'll throw in a couple guitar picks.
It may look a little rough around the edges, but it still plays loud and like you would expect a Blink 182 Strat to sound.
There are no issues with the way it plays when plugged in.
Message me if you have any questions or would like specific photos.
