About This Listing

Richard Prenkart is one of our favorite luthiers. This fine 7-string classical instrument is constructed with a solid Western Red Cedar soundboard, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and Gilbert tuners. The guitar has also been equipped with a high performance Barbera transducer pickup, considered to be one of the finest pickups on the market.

This amazingly resonant and well balanced 7-string sings with a bell like tone. Warm tones are rendered with a lighter touch. The bass response on the 7th string gives this guitar a solid foundation and boldness that pairs extremely well with the bright penetrating treble strings and the lively 4th, 5th and 6th strings. This fine 7-string's dynamic qualities are surely worth exploring for a go at guitar playing excellence. Made with Brazilian Choro and ALL working man's players in mind.

Scale length: 650mm - Nut width: 58mm
