1934 Kay Wood Amplifyin guitar

Sold!

A Very very rare 1934 Kay Wood Amplifying guitar. These guitars were only made for One year so there are probably only a handful left in existence..it has a great tone and resonance to it. Sounds great finger picking and really nice with a slide. Under the wood cover is a wooden resonating dish that then feeds sound up thru the really cool trident like holes. Big bodied 15 3/4 lower bout, 25 3/4 inch scale, 1 23/32 nut..It has the patented Stromber-Voisinette neck so that you can adjust the action to whatever you would like. Action is set for fingerstyle and slide now. Has the original strap! From the original owner I believe..a friend found it for me. The cover plate has a couple of repaired cracks that are secure. A couple of aging cracks near the pickguard but are superficial and not thru...Comes with a chipboard case..
