About This Listing

This is a "super strat" style guitar from Electra called the Westone Phoenix. It was made sometime in the mid-80s, but it is a very well playing guitar, and it has some sweet features.

Everything is original EXCEPT for the tremolo unit. The original bridge plate cracked, and I decided to replace the whole unit with a Fender Mexican Bridge that I had lying around. It plays great, and the tuning stability is solid.

The 3-way switch acts just like a Les Paul would: Bridge -> Middle -> Neck. Each pickup has an individual tone control with a master volume, but every potentiometer has a push-pull feature. The master volume is a coil split, the neck pickup tone adds in the middle pickup, and the bridge tone knocks it out of phase. It's VERY versatile.
