Pretty proud of this liquid feeling one-off carved version of a J Model.  Made of African Mahogany for the body and neck, and Indian Rosewood for the fingerboard.  The fingerboard's top position marker dots are of Holly wood, aluminum on the side.  The headstock is signed and heat-branded with my "r" logo (previously "rg").  No fuss, instant access two-way Allen wrench style truss rod.  Medium nickel-silver fretwire.  The cream highlight on the headstock scallop matches the P-90's, my own wind I've been calling "Ol' 44s" for their use of lightly degaussed Alnico 4 magnets.  The neck coil reads at 7.6Kohm dc resistance, and the bridge coil at 8.2Kohm.  They're wax potted and on the slightly underwound side and are dynamic with harmonic three dimensionality.  Standard Switchcraft 3-Way toggle, full copper control cavity shielding, a 500K Mojotone Pro CTS volume pot and a 500K StewMac tone pot with a Mojotone Dijon .022uF capacitor.  Switchcraft output jack in a gold flavored Electrosocket.  Features a recessed tune-o-matic to accommodate the 1* neck pitch.  The nut is brass, the ballend retainer is made of Delrin and brass(for proper string grounding), and the tuning machines are (supposedly) US made Planet Waves 18:1 auto-trim machines.  The finish is a hand applied UV cured poly with a similar look and feel to a built up tung oil or Tru Oil finish, a thin finish that doesn't choke the wood's resonance and allows the wood to still look and feel like wood and not buried in thick, plastic coating, but with more hardness and resilience to wear than oil.

I took a variety of exposures of the top to give a good sense of the oddball carving, where the ridges converge on a small knot in the mahogany.  It person it is quite orange/brown in the body with more reddishness in the neck -- a warm aesthetic.  I use D'Addario and it is set up with XL 10s at a low/moderate action.  If you have string preferences you'd like it specifically set up to, please inquire and I can quote cost, if any.

Listed price includes a gig bag and UPS Ground domestic shipping.
Elsewhere would be actual cost of desired delivery carrier -- please inquire in advance of purchase for a shipping quote.
