This Jim Kelley Line Amplifier is an ultra rare prototype with only a handful ever produced. An all-tube amplifier designed to retain your guitar’s natural tonal characteristics. It delivers a broad range of punchy, high powered clean and smooth dynamic overdrive tones. The Jim Kelley features a versatile pre-amp/power amp circuit, active shelving tone controls, four 6V6 output tubes and reverb.
ACTIVE SHELVING TONE CONTROLS
The unique nature of the Jim Kelley EQ circuit gives you an incredible amount of versatility and flexibility with just two simple knobs: bass and treble. These controls adjust the amount of boost and cut and are considered flat when set to five.
Dial in the tone further with three pull out controls for a presence, bright, and mid boost.
This amp has just been serviced by one of the best tube amp techs in Portland, Oregon and simply sounds amazing. New can cap, tubes, resistors and power transformer that I bought directly from Mr. Kelley himself. (The original will be included.)GLORIOUS REVERB & BOOST CIRCUITS
All versions of the Jim Kelley amplifier come with a beautiful sounding, tube driven, spring reverb.
A footswitchable boost jack is located on the back of the amp that Provides a Post-EQ boost in gain to the output section for more saturation while leaving the pre-amp clean and punchy.
