For sale is a made in Japan Yamaha AEX1500 Blonde Martin Taylor signature in excellent condition. This beautiful guitar has become very hard to find, especially in the blonde finish. Right now it has a custom rosewood pickguard on it, but included are all of the original parts including the pickguard.
This was Yamaha's flagship archtop model and it shows. Not to be confused with Yamaha's lower end guitars made in china and elsewhere, this is a top of the line instrument made in their Japanese factory. The piezo feature makes it one of the most versatile archtop's i've ever played. You can get amazing acoustic clean sounds with bronze strings, or go for a more traditional sound with flatwounds through the magnetic pickup. It will sound great with any string combination you could think of. I've included a link to the specifications below.
It has a Sycamore Top, Maple Neck and Ebony Fretboard.
Included is the original lifton style G&G Hardshell case shown in the pictures. Only thing keeping me from calling it mint is a tiny ding in the finish towards the back of the headstock, purely cosmetic of course. Don't miss out on this one, once it's gone it might be a while before another like it shows up.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. All reasonable offers will be considered. Thanks! Please contact me for a quote on international shipping.
