This is a very nice example of classic EBMM Axis Sport, with the original and rare HSS configuration. Plays and sounds great, I’m just more accustomed to the Luke model. Would be will to trade towards a Luke model as well.
Here’s some details from the folks I purchased it from and set it up.
Clean EBMM Axis Sport (late 90s), with the best pickup configuration (SSH - DiMarzio) and OHSC for your consideration.
Fresh set-up by Holgado Guitar Works in Atlanta and brand-new EBMM 5-way switch installed.
Tremolo arm is stuck, rotates and can be tensioned just fine - you just can't remove it and was something previous owner likely did. If this is an issue for you, please don't buy the guitar. Guitar is very clean overall but has been played -- pictures -- please regard the detail so you see where the marks are on the guitar body. Most are on back of guitar and not visible to your adoring fans!
The EBMM vintage trem meanwhile is awesome. Dive bombs possible, with easy return to pitch.
It includes the original EBMM hardshell case and will be safely packaged for transport. Does brilliant single coil tones and the humbucker is pure rock, tons of first-class tones at your fingertips. Check my feedback and buy with confidence!
Rosewood fretboard, maple neck, swamp ash body.
