This is a 2004 Schecter Blackjack PT. These are rare now as they were only built for a couple of years before the range was overhauled. It is a Tele shape with a really flush ‘ultra access’ set neck, which is as low a profile as anything you will find. The colour combination is great too: nothing looks as good as a bound-bodied Tele.

They sport a really nice combination of features a nd are ridiculously versatile. The standard of hardware on them was also very high (see list below).

It has a double-octave neck and a 24.75” scale length. It will take on a Les Paul as well as do metal and country courtesy of the Seymour Duncan pickups. The 59 in the neck is lovely, but the bridge JB is astonishingly good. As well as humbucking greatness, the five way selector gives access to a range of brilliant single coil sounds in the 2&4 position as well.

Condition is very good. She’s never been abused and whilst there are some very slight scratches etc, it is nothing you wouldn’t expect - and small enough that I can’t get it to show up in a photo. It sustains forever, the sound is huge and all electrics are crackle-free. Neck is straight and fret wear is light. Tuning is also great - Grovers were standard. Comes with Tweed hard case.

I’m a slightly reluctant seller but the collection must be trimmed and I have too many LP-style guitars...
