The Hofamp Atom is
a 60 watt KT66 or 6L6GC based amplifier. Rectified by a GZ34 it has a nice
natural "sag" and because of it's slow warmup there is no need
for a standby switch. The preamp exists of three 12AX7 tubes which can be
configured in different ways. It can be either selected in series which gives
maximum gain for doom without pedals or selected in parallel what gives
you two channels with their own caracter that can be used simultaneously. With
an ABY selector you can choose between the two inputs for good clean sounds and
overdriven sounds, or choose for both and get beautifully mixed saturation
levels. Everything is made by hand from the chassis to the cabinet and only the best materials and components are used.
