2019 Zon Legacy Elite "25th Anniversary Edition" BEAD 4-String Bass Guitar, Amazing! Price Reduced!

I received this bass brand new directly from the Zon factory in California on 11/17/2019 (after a 12 1/2 month wait from the day I ordered it). This bass is total perfection and in totally mint condition, and has only been played by me in my home while sitting on the couch for just a few hours, and the only reason that I'm selling this bass now is because my wife has asked me to sell all of my equipment that I am not actually using at the church where I play.

Well, due to having a back injury from the military, I can no longer play live any bass that weighs much over 8 pounds, and even though when I placed the order I was promised that this bass would be under 9 pounds, it actually came in weighing 9.4 pounds, which is just too heavy for me to use.
So my loss is your gain, as this bass is a collectible due to only two of this very special anniversary model ever being made, and it could very well be worth more than double of my selling price in the future!

Zon Legacy Elite "25th Anniversary Edition" 4-string electric bass (tuned and setup BEAD from the factory).

Alder wood two-piece body.

Set-in composite neck with Phenowood fingerboard (1.5 inch nut, 12 inch radius) and Abalone dot inlays.

24 medium nickel frets.

Fully adjustable truss rod, with hidden removable truss rod cover at the end of the fingerboard.

High Gloss mirror-like black finish with gold hardware and special vintage Zon logo on headstock.

Special Bartolini pickups that have vintage pickup windings (1987 specs - which are no longer made) and a Polyfusion preamp (controls are volume; pan; treble, middle, and bass boost and cut). Inside of rear cavity cover is hand signed by Joseph M. Zon with the special serial number.

Stock Zon strings have been replaced/upgraded with brand new Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt roundwounds (gauges 65, 80, 100, 130), which are really great strings. I will also include one new/unopened set of strings inside the case!

And as a side note, if you prefer a regular tuned EADG 4-string bass then all it would take is to have a new graphite nut installed by a professional luthier and of course having a regular 4-string set of bass strings installed.

Also, if you prefer a piccolo bass then you could have a new nut installed for the lighter gauge piccolo strings (search Zander Zon on YouTube if you are not familiar with a piccolo bass)!

I have owned over 500 new basses in my playing career, and can honestly say this is probably the nicest bass that I have ever played. This bass simply looks, plays, and sounds amazing and oh how I wish it was just 1 pound lighter and I would never sell it!

Please note:
The plastic covering on the outside of the rear cavity cover has now been removed to ensure there were no scratches on it. Some of the photos were taken before I removed the plastic covering.  Also, the tiny white specks that you can see on the bass in a few of the photos is just dust or some lint from the polish cloth.

I recently ended this listing because I really wanted to keep this bass!

Well, I tried out the bass at the church where I play just to be sure, but unfortunately 9.4 pounds is too heavy for me and the weight is hurting my back, so I am relisting this incredible new Zon as of today and have lowered my price!

I am willing to sell this bass to someone outside of the 48 states but there will be an additional $300 shipping/insurance charge.
