UP FOR SALE...
This beautiful vintage 1960s Airline Acoustic Guitar. This is a great looking vintage guitar with an exceptional sound that really projects with a great tone! As you can see from the pictures, this guitar is in very good shape with only minor scratches/flaws (as in any older instrument). Please look very closely at all pictures to get a full grasp of what is offered. There are no stamped numbers or symbols on the inside of the guitar, however I believe this could be an Airline N-7 (not confirmed).
BODY...
The body measures approximately 19-1/8"x15"x3-3/4". The beautiful natural top is complimented by a stylish white pickguard and matching white borders around the front and back. This is in great shape; only very minor dings/scratches All the bracing on the inside appears to be fully intact.
NECK...
The neck is 17-3/4" to the end of the nut, add another 6-1/2" for the headstock. The frets markings are four dot inlays (white). The heel is not pulling up from the top of the body at all. The neck is in great shape and lays in your hand very nicely. The finish is coming off (possibly by a wedding ring) on the neck from basic wear and tear. The rosewood fretboard is in great shape (no pitting, divots, or scratches)
HARDWARE...
The tuning machines on this guitar look to be brand new. The white tuning pegs match the other white details on this guitar nicely. The machines and tuning pegs turn very nicely. I've re-strung with a new set of strings. The action on the strings is nice and low.
CASE...
The case is in great shape consisting of 3 Worchester T&S - Rochdale Mass. clasps and 3 hinges (2 metal and one leather). All hardware on the case functions as it should.
