Yamaha M-40 Power Amplifier - 120 Watts X 2 @ 8 Ohms - Serviced & Reconditioned - Big Power

Here is a really nice sounding big power amplifier made by Yamaha model M-40. This amp is rated at 120 watts RMS per channel @ 8 ohms with no more than 0.002% THD. The amp has super headroom and is stable to 2 ohms and you can connect up to three sets of speakers.

The amp has been serviced. The corrosive glue on the power amp board was removed from all devices that it came in contact with. The amp has been tested and is fully operational. The back panel speaker connectors have been repaired. There were two areas that have been professionally glued back together. All connector caps are present.

The amp will operate in Class A design until transient peaks are detected then convert to class AB operation. This circuit operates with nearly no distortion for low to moderate volume listening. Remove class A switch to provide big power operation for loud listening levels.
