Well I originally bought this thinking it was 1 of the 6 black ones painted by Stephen Davies and Richard Wiekum. However it is just a Davies that has been re-painted black. But, it has been done beautifully. This is not hack job, definitely painted by a professional. 1991 Stephen Davies era N4. Excellent condition - never abused.
Kahler trem - flat ebony fretboard just like Nuno's. This is the one everyone looks for. At one point someone may have tried to add another volume knob or tone knob. Through the paint you can see an indentation. Very hard to see unless you're looking for it. Not mint but definitely excellent + condition.
Priced to sell. Trust me, it plays incredible! The action is perfect and it really is just a beautiful guitar. I don't know why Washburn didn't make more of these because I think black suits this guitar better than any other color.
The Case is not the original but it is form fitted for an N4.
