Brand New in the Factory Shipping Carton

The bass you will receive is the one in the photos and is Brand New sealed in the Factory Carton as shown in the photos. It has only been been removed from the factory carton to inspect and then it was re-packed exactly like it came from the factory and put back in the factory carton.

You might also notice some very tiny white lint and/or dust particles here and there in the photos. These have been dusted off before re-packing the instrument. The three factory flaws are as follows:

There is a very tiny (much less than half the size of a pin head at best) finish flaw on the back of the neck of the bass. Looks like a tiny spec of dust may have gotten under the  paint , done at the factory before shipping out. You can barely feel it and it could easily be wet sanded with ultra fine sandpaper and smoothed out if it really needed to be. Personally, it is so insignificant it doesn't bother me, at all.

 This tiny factory flaw does not deter from the look or function of the bass. In fact, you probably wouldn't even notice if I didn't point them out.

Once again, this is a BRAND NEW BASS straight from the factory. This instrument has never hung on a wall or been on display. It is in the exact shape the day it was shipped from the factory. You will not be disappointed.

The action is wonderful. This bass plays like a dream. It has not been played since the day it was received, and that was only for a couple minutes to check the action and feel.. This instrument is virtually a Brand New instrument with the very minor finish flaw mentioned above..

This instrument has never been in a store or showroom. It was delivered straight from the factory to the Supro warehouse, then to me. It has been in the shipping carton stored in a climate controlled environment ever since. You will essentially receive a Factory Fresh condition instrument (with a minor factory finish flaw). I cannot list it as "Brand New" or Brand New "B Stock" because I am not a Supro dealer. Therefore, it is listed as "Excellent", even though it is most likely in newer condition than most brand new ones that you will buy from a store or Supro dealer that has had theirs on display for people to play.....if you can even find one, at all.  Unlike theirs, this instrument is untouched, other than a quick inspection and to check the setup and functionality.

These little basses are in high demand.They have been discontinued and as such, they are difficult to find. The people that own these basses are not letting them go. Just try to find a pre-owned one. These little basses are keepers. They will only rise in value in time. Very few were produced.
 

These Supro Huntington basses are incredible. These little Huntington Short Scale Basses blow away any Fender Mustang (vintage USA or Newer )USA, Japanese, or Mexican, Ibanez Mikro, Gretsch Jr Jet, Epiphone EBO, etc.. This bass far exceeds any of the above mentioned SS Basses. I can say this with certainty because I have owned them all. None of the other Short Scale Basses mentioned above even come close. Don't take my word for it, do some research on youtube and anywhere else online. You will see what people are saying. If you want the best sounding, most versatile, best playing, most comfortable, short scale bass in this price range....this is it, hands down. These basses are worth way more money than the price they carry, believe me; and best of all, you will not find a better price on a virtually new one (with minor finish flaws) than right here. This little bass is perfectly set up and ready to go with silky smooth action and plenty of mwah. If you look closely in the photos, you will see that the protective plastic is on the pickguard and truss rod cover. As I mentioned, it is basically BRAND SPAKIN NEW with an extremely minor factory finish flaw!  Take it home today...and have a LOT OF FUN!

Vintage Inspiration
This newly-designed, short-scale bass combines the classic body shape of the early ‘60s Ozark model with vintage-correct passive electronics and sonic inspiration from the Supro Pocket Bass of the same era. Although its scale is short, the sound of the Huntington bass is astoundingly large—boasting a tight, confident, buttery low end, articulate midrange and crisp highs.

Gold Foil Pickups
The unique Gold Foil pickups found in the Huntington bass are authentic replicas of the original “Clear-Tone” pickups found in the vintage Supro Violin, Taurus and Pocket Bass models. These high-output single coils deliver legendary, deep low-end, with very low noise and a massive, broadband sound that stays warm and balanced across the entire range of the instrument.

Modern Construction
The Supro Huntington bass is available in single, double and triple pickup configurations with an optional piezo bridge and a variety of unique metallic and transparent colors over a choice of Mahogany, Swamp Ash or Alder tonewood for the body.
