Selling my Precision Bass from 77. Overall in great shape but still show signs of wear from the 42 years around.
This bass has a rosewood fretboard much harder to find than the maple ones and has the best upgrades a P-bass could have.
At some point a J pickup was added to the bridge and it was nicely done.
This bass features a VOL/TONE VOL/TONE control like the 60's Jazz Basses, Nordstrand PJ pickups, Hipshot Kickass Bridge, Hipshot tuners, Dunlop Straplock buttons and a new pickguard. The previous owned had it routed under the pickguard to fit a preamp and the job was nicely done and shielded with copper tape. Other than that you won't see any other mods except the addition of the J pickup.
The Nordstrand pickups sound great in this bass and this bass plays like a dream.
The truss rod is perfectly functional and the frets are in great shape.
Hate to see it go but need to thin the herd.
This bass is priced in between a Fender Pro Series and a Fender Mod Shop and you're getting a true vintage bass instead of a new Fender that doesn't even offer a PJ Precision.
The bass will be shipped with a case.
