Up for sale is a Sigma Mahogany Dreadnought Guitar in less than ideal condition. I let my Son take it on the road when he started long haul truck driving and he didn't take great care of it. It has stress/impact cracks in a few areas, including what I am trying to point out on the back of the guitar. The other thing that I am pointing out is an impact indent in the side. The action is high which makes it difficult to play, but...it sounds amazing. Sigma was a budget line of guitars for CF Martin brand, and the construction and materials are nice. There are two serial numbers on this guitar. 806255 is stamped on the butt of the neck, and 269910 is stamped in the bracing seen through the sound hole. The stamping does not say where the guitar was built, and the serial #'s did not help me determine a date. I bought this at a tag sale many years back on a collegiate school campus. This may be a good candidate for someone learning luthier skills. It needs some TLC, but the mahogany is beautiful and the resonance is very nice. Comes with a canvas gig bag that was with it when I purchased it
