Vintage 1964 Silvertone Danelectro 1440L bass Guitar. Pots are dated 1964. Short scale, 30-32”. D’Addario light gauge strings used. My friend bought it new in 1964 and later painted the front white, & put 1965 wooden radio knobs on it. (he was a kid. That’s what kids do.)
Pots have been cleaned and work fine with no scratching. The tone sounds very good, the neck is straight and, hard to believe, but the original
frets are like new. The neck fretboard is probably Brazilian Rosewood, (can’t get that today.) The “Silvertone” headstock emblem is original, as are the tuners. No pick guard. A Fender deluxe gig bag is included
**Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have, since it is a very unique bass guitar.**
