Nystrum custom guitars are made in Pennsylvania. The body was relicked tastefully, and the guitar is in excellent shape with almost no wear (factoring in the relic job they did). The neck was not relicked, nor was the metal rusted, my favorite relics are set up like this. Body looks to be one piece Swamp Ash - I bought used with no spec sheet so can't be sure but they have others with this finish that are Swamp Ash and one piece. Upgraded with Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups and a switch that lets you run the bridge and neck pickup together (in addition to traditional 5 settings). Comes with tremelo arm. Stunning C profile flame maple neck - truly custom shop quality with jumbo frets that have hardly any wear. Top notch components all the way around. Comes with really nice Bullhorn hard case which can be customized (Google Bullhorn cases). Look at what these sell for, this one is way below market. My ratings here and on eBay are 100% - I never misrepresent my gear and always sell for below market. Set up very well and plays excellently, ready to go. I don't think you could find a better strat style at this price point. I've had all kinds of strats through the years including a vintage Fender. This looks, plays, and sounds as good as any Fender, Nash, K-Line as I have played. Update - this is their Gunnar model and sold for $2050. The Custom Shop Specials add another $200. Nystrum has one listed under Gunner if you Google it (misspelled on their site - they usually call it the Gunnar). This guitar is in excellent condition, and listed for half of what it would cost to buy new!!! I can't imagine you could find a better strat in this price range.
