Vintage 1960's Shure SM50 dynamic microphone w accessories

 You are looking at a 1960's era Shure Brothers model SM-50 dynamic microphone. This is a dual impedance mic with both high and low Z settings but is currently set at Low impedance and has a strong warm tone. It comes with the mic clip and mic pouch shown.

 Pic # 2 is from an old catalog I have showing all of the SM-50's performance characteristics.

 The SM-50 was ideal for broadcasting applications such as interviews and studio work. It's quite rugged and has a great pop filter inside severely restricting unwanted "pops" from breathing and windy conditions. I did have to change the foam out as the original foam was all but gone.

 The SM-50 has an all metal body with original paint. As you can see in the pictures provided this has quite a bit of wear but still not bad overall and works like a champ. Typical scratches, scuff marks and small paint chips. The mic is free of any fractures or dents however. Only the front screen shows subtle deformation but again, new inner foam inside. The shure label shows wear as well but completely legible.

 These SM-50's are so hard to come by that this is the first one I have ever offered for sale.

 This mic takes a standard XLR cable which is not included but these are very easy to find.

 The mic comes with a generic style Shure mic clip that works excellent for this mic. Holds the mic firmly and gives a wide degree of tilt up and down. The clip will screw onto any desk or floor stand.

 A newer Shure mic black vinyl pouch is also included that you can store the mic in when not in actual use. It's in excellent condition.
