80’s Cimar/Ibanez V Shape Electric Guitar, Blue, Humbuckers, Maple, Your First?

Cimar was a Hoshino Gakki guitar brand. Designs of Cimar guitars are sometimes very similar to Hoshino Gakki's Ibanez guitar brand. Cimar guitars appear in Hoshino Gakki catalogues and were eventually distributed by Ibanez in the 70’s. This guitar has much more of an 80’s appearance, but here we are. This guitar has a distinctively 80’s look as Cimar was srtill doing copies of various models from all companies at the time.

The V is unique as we’ve never seen another and the features are the art of simplicity. One humbucker, brass saddles, vintage vibrato (no whammy bar with this listing), maple neck, brass knobs and a cool dark blue finish. We cannot find any history on this, but it works good now (other than the tremolo) and it reminds us of someone’s first guitar. Nice piece. Recognize it? Could it have been yours?

This 80’s Cimar/Ibanez V Shape Electric Guitar is a used item in VG condition.  This classic designed guitar shows some wear from normal use. There are the standard finish scratches showing on the top of the body but the back of the body is in good shape. There are a few edge dings as pictured at the end of the points and headstock. One other appears around the strap pin. All electronics work as they should, and the guitar sound very cool for its price. You will receive this item well-packed but without a case, gig bag, original paperwork and packaging.  A gig bag is available for an additional cost.
