This Fretlight Guitar is a beautiful Sunburst electric guitar with a 21-fret maple bolt-on neck, with a rosewood fingerboard, and a hard tail bridge. It does sound as good as it looks, though it has gone through a few revisions since its creation in the early 90s (1992 – 1996).

An powerful learning/teaching tool for guitarists of any level. LEDS on the fretboard illuminate modes, scales and chords. Just follow the lights to make learning a cinch. It will make you a better guitarist! Pictured is LEDs lit up to E Blues scale.

No computer required! very simple to use - just turn the knobs and play the notes. Simply plug in the power cable, select a key and scale, and the neck lights up that scale all up and down the neck. The same applies for chords. Great practice tool, even for advanced players.

The 200 series is no longer made by Optek. All new models require a computer to operate. These 200 series models offer a simpler and more intuitive experience than the current offerings.

Comes with upgraded black Grover tuners + original chromes, original white pickup covers, power supply, Fretlight Jam Tracks CD & cassette (Which is awesome!)

What Makes This Guitar Special: A great playing and sounding strat with a twist. The fretboard is inlayed with dozens of LEDs that illuminate different note positions for scales, modes, and chords. In short, it’s a guitar that teaches you to play and how to find any note in any arrangement conceivable. Utilizing three simple knobs installed on the top of the guitar, you can select any area of study you’d like to focus on.

Neck: Rounded maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays as well as dozens of LED inlays, white side dot markers, and the tuners are in perfect working order. 1 11/16” nut width, 25.5” scale length. The neck is straight and the truss rod has been tested and is functioning properly.

Body: Solid contoured ash. Three ply white pickguard, black rear cavity covers, chrome hardtail adjustable bridge. Guitar weighs approx. 7lbs.

Electronics:  are not installed but they are included. Power supply for the onboard LED system is included. All electronics have been tested and are in perfect working order.
