Still up for sale after a bout with  fraud on the buyers end that forced a refund. No surprises, guitar is what it is.  Great player and cool piece!

Paul Barth of Rickenbacker and early Fender fame designed the first production electric fretless and licensed it to the Hohner Company in the late 60’s. These basses are super cool, fun to play and extremely rare. This blonde is a beautiful example of the model built in Germany after Bartell Guitars closed down.  It’s chequed up over the top and body, but nothing structural. Plays great, and Sounds great! Restrung with Ernie Ball flats, it could use a setup as the zero fret at the nut is worn and the angle over the string allows it to buzz a bit. Probably best to replace the zero fret.

Comes with non original case.  Shipping negotiated per destination.  Feel free to ask questions

There are a couple great Bartell Guitar fan pages online with more information.
