Used Fender Showmaster Midnight Blue
This guitar is what we call "used not abused". There are some nicks and belt buckle rash but nothing major and certainly no structural or internal damage. Before photos our tech performed a full fret dress.
Here is a quirky addition to our used Fender stock: A 2004 Korean made Showmaster HH. This dark blue beauty is a far cry from your typical Strat model, and as far as we're concerned that's what makes it all the more fun. This model features dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers, a contoured set neck, Rosewood fingerboard and a matching headstock. These were made in the early 2000's as an affordable callback early Custom Shop productions inspired by Jackson and Charvel archetypes. In testing, this guitar has a lot more soul than you would expect from a "shredder" which makes it a unique platform for folks looking for something just a bit "out there".
This Fender Showmaster features:
This guitar is a lot of fun to play. It was created to have the slick feel of early "shredder" guitars so it plays clean and quick thanks to slim taper D shape neck, modern 14" radius and contoured heel for access to every fret. The Seymour Duncan pickups are the tried and true '59 and JB combination which offer a great mixture of clarity and power for fusion, blues, rock and everything in between. As a bonus you get Fender's solid 2-point tremolo system for shimmering chords or some loose Jeff Beck lines. Overall this is a really cool find and a serious bang for your buck guitar. Whether you're a Strat Superfan or someone looking to mix things up, this could be what you've been looking for.
