Vintage MIJ Teisco Electric Guitar

This is a killer deal on an excellent, vintage instrument. Price is well below value. Whether you want to keep it or turn it for a few bucks, you can’t go wrong with this deal. This is a must-have for any MIJ instrument collector.

This is a Teisco Tulip that was most likely made for either Teisco, Harmony or Silvertone by Matsumoko. Teisco ET-110 Tulips are a dime a dozen. I have owned standard ones myself. This one, however, isn't like the most common Tulip you will find.

It has an offset waist, and a slightly different body shape. The offset is quite different than the "tulip" shape. I think this might have been a step or two up from the basic floor model Tulip - a more professional version.

The one blackfoil pickup sounds clean and shimmery. The action is super low and comfortable. The neck has a slim profile, and plays like a dream! The bridge was replaced with a piece of piping, but it works just the same as the original since it wasn't much more than just a piece of pipe as well.
