RoXdon VU-2 HIFI Analog VU Meter

The RoXdon VU-2 HIFI Analog VU Meter features 2 channel (left & right) connections with Gold plated phono sockets. The meter is powered by an external International Power Supply therefore preventing interaction with the audio circuit. The Power Supply includes UK, EU, USA & Australian adapters. A convenient on-off power switch is also located on the rear panel.
The signal source is designed to be connected to the output of a preamplifier such as tape out, record out, etc. of an integrated amplifier or connected directly to the output of a preamp (Hi-Fi separates) then linking to the power amp from the VU box phono link sockets.
The meters are calibrated for 0VU = 0dBu (0.7745V into a 600 ohm load) and are driven by an electronic VU driver circuit.
