Vintage 1981 Hamer Special 
Condition: (See Pictures) Various scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument give this guitar a well-played look. There are various chips around the top and back edge of the guitar. There is some heavier scratching on the back. Fingerboard and frets are in great shape (lots of life still left). The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions as it should. Re-Fret may have been done at some point. There are dents and chips around the guitar and headstock but all are merely cosmetic. Nice amount of buckle rash on the back of the guitar with lots of extra honest natural relicing. All parts are in perfect working condition. All the hardware looks great and is also in perfect working order. DiMarzio 36th humbuckers installed. I have no idea if all the hardware and other electronics are original.. That is why I am pricing this one at such a steal of a deal.
Body: Solid double-cutaway mahogany body with rare black finish. String-through-body design with Sustainer bridge. Three skirted plastic control knobs.
Neck: Slender mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 5/8” bone nut. Looks to have the Original Nickel Schaller tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: DiMarzio 36th humbuckers in the neck and bridge. Dual volume controls, master tone control and a 3-way selector switch.
Playability/Sound: This is a phenomenal sounding guitar! These DiMarzio pickups provide great output and sustain without sacrificing a natural overall tone. The bridge pickup produces some shimmering clean tones while the neck offers a very warm, full sound. The neck is extremely comfortable; especially for anyone who enjoys a slim neck.
Case: Comes with the, what looks to be the original hardshell case in incredible shape.
