What's the deal with refurbished?
This instrument is stamped "used" on the back of the headstock and given a new serial number by the manufacturer-authorized refurbisher. Why? It was deemed to have a cosmetic imperfection or to need a repair. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. We scrutinize every instrument and pass along all information from the refurbisher so that you know exactly what you are getting. These are like new with little or zero play wear!
A recreation of the original Kramer Pacer that was the flagship model for Kramer artists such as Vivian Campbell, Edward Van Halen, Jeff Golub, Brad Gillis, Neil Schon, and Richie Sambora, this solid-maple-body and hard-maple-neck guitar delivers remarkable resonance and that glorious “sustain for days” rock ‘n’ roll tone. It is loaded with pair of USA Seymour Duncan™ pickups and a Floyd Rose™ tremolo bridge. The guitar also features a factory-installed “treble bleed” mod for crisp tones even with the volume dialed back and push/pull volume pots for single-coil tones out of either pickup.
This particular instrument has a few tiny dark specks in the finish behind the bridge. We have included a close-up photo. There are also some extremely light finish scratches that we were unable to capture on camera. Aside from what we have described, this instrument is in mint condition. It still even has the factory plastic over the pickups!
NOTE: We DO have the black Floyd Rose tremolo arm and it is included. We apologize that it did not make it into any of the photos.
How Does It Play?
We have given this fine instrument a thorough pro setup to make sure it is playing its best and 100% ready for you. You’re going to want this beast playing fast and low and that’s exactly how we have it. The neck is excellent and the action is low without buzz.
A new Guardian Cases hardshell case can be added to US orders for $75 or to international orders for $95.
