Stunning Hand crafted Small body archtop guitar. Made to the highest standards in America by master luthier Mark Campellone.
Not to be confused with production guitars that are made in bulk and go through many hands in the manufactuing process. Very manageable guitar to play due to the compact dimensions, very similar to an Ibanez George Benson GB10 in size. Also lightweight for use when standing.
Prices start at $4995 as per his website for his most basic model. Even at this price, the general consensus is that Campellone guitars are a bit of a bargain considering the standard of craftsmanship. They would also need to be imported from the US, with the addition of high import tax and delivery costs. This model is no longer in production as Mark seems to have narrowed down his selection of models. These truly are world class guitars built by a well respected luthier.
Signs of use are very minimal as it has been played lightly at home only. Some lacquer checking as pictured around the neck joint, commonly seen on nitro finish guitars. Extremely well set up with no dead spots and plays perfectly in my opinion. Strung with 11 gauge Thomastik flatwounds.
Selling as I spend most of my time on solid or semi-hollow body guitars, and this amazing guitar deserves to be played more often. Please contact me prior to purchasing so we can make sure we are happy with delivery arrangements and other details.
