This is the 1999 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Dale Earnhardt tribute guitar. There were only 333 made and this one is # DE 047. This one is complete with all case candy that it was shipped with from Gibson: Gibson Art Historic hardshell case, Simpson Racing harness strap with hood pin connectors, Dale Earnhardt guitar picks, original Sam Bass art work of the front and back graphics on the guitar, custom shop COA, original factory checklist, truss rod wrench, case key and hang tag.

This guitars history:
This guitar is from my personal collection and I'm the original owner. I ordered this guitar personally from a local Gibson dealer when they announced these were being made. When it came in, it came straight to me, never displayed or hung in the store. 

I was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan at the time so I had to have one. This guitar has been safely stored in my smoke free home studio in it's case it's entire life. I have taken it out a couple times over the years to remind myself how cool this guitar really is. Now I will say this last time I took it out of it's case about a month ago the frets were slightly tarnished so I took it to my local guitar luthier who has done all my work for the past 30 years. I had him polish up the frets, change strings and check the truss rod to see if it needed any tweaking. It was given a clean bill of health and has NO issues. So other than that, this guitar has NEVER been handled by anyone other than myself and my guitar luthier.

CONDITION:
Please review all of the photos as they are a part of the listing and show the guitars condition and everything that is included. This guitar has 0 marks of any kind on it. If you go over it with a magnifying glass you may find something but if so it was there from the factory. Anything that looks like a mark in the photos is from glare and camera flash. The Sam Bass art prints and the COA have been stored in my filing cabinet so they are clean and crisp with 0 handling wear. I have moved once since I owned this guitar and the case may have a few minute marks but otherwise it's also as mint as the guitar. Condition is very subjective but I describe everything as best I can and I do have a 100% positive seller rating. If you have any questions please ask.
