Home Made Bo Diddley 2016 Blue, White

For sale in have a home made bo diddley style guitar. I wanted to try my hand at building one so I figured no diddley's rectangle guitar would be an easy place to start!! The body is a 2 piece pine with maple laminate top, finished in a two tone blue and white. I used silver sparkle pinstripe tape for the binding. Then clear coated it with nitro clear. The routing isn't perfect, but not terrible for freehand. I have a back cover for it but it wasn't on when I took the pictures. The neck and tailpiece are cheap parts I found on here from china. The neck could use a proper set up and maybe some fret work. But It does feel better than I had expected it to. The bridge is a reproduction floating bridge for an acoustic. I put a piece of pickguard material under it to get it to a proper height. The pups are DeArmond style single coils from a company called frankentone. They sound fantastic! And the tele control plate is a solderless system from a guy on ebay, kelling sound. I will paste the description of it underneath this. This will ship with a padded Gibson USA gig bag. It's just a hair to small for the guitar but works fine.
Although this guitar does work and play fine I'm listing as a project because it does need some more work to be perfect! For that reason I am selling AS IS, NO RETURNS. If you have any questions please ask!!

This Tele Control Plate is best suited for higher output pickups but will still work fine with normal Tele pickups. This is wired reversed with the volume up front and the switch in the back. The switch is a 5 way lever switch.
The settings are: 1 bridge, 2 bridge and neck, 3 neck, 4 neck with less bass and 5 bridge and neck in series.

Both pots are A500k. The volume has a cap for treble bleed. The tone pot has a .022 ERO polypropylene made in Germany. Extremely smooth tone. This has solderless pickup connections. You only need a small screwdriver to install the pickups.
