1992 black Charvel Surfcaster bass. I am the original owner.

The instrument is in excellent playing and cosmetic shape, ready for stage or studio. There are a few minor dings in the finish, but no big scratches or gouges. You can see the shine in the photos.

It has a basswood body, eastern rock maple neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. The electronics are clean, and feature two lipstick pickups, a three-way selector toggle, and a push/ push tone knob for phase reversal.

The action is good, but the saddles are set fairly low. If the buyer wanted to lower the string height substantially, a neck shim might be required.

I presently have it set up with nylon tape wound bass strings, and it sounds great. If you would prefer conventional strings, I will restring it at your request.

No hard case -- the instrument comes with a USA Cases gig bag.
